Great news! I have managed to get a site-to-site (a.k.a. gateway-to-gateway) VPN working between a LinkSys RV082 and a LinkSys WRT54GL running OpenWrt! It should also be possible to use similar hardware like the RV042, RV016, WRT54G, WRT54GS, etc.

Needed to upgrade to the vpn service because the internet router at work was blocking my access. The support for this was SUPERB. The staff helped me through the trouble-shooting ,and then the service upgrade, very quickly and with obvious expertise. VERY PLEASED. I also liked the care they took to make sure that my private data was valid and verified. No time wasted, but I feel secure. The only comment I have is that the web-page that shows the differences between the two versions did not highlight the fact that the OPENVPN version can work in almost any network environment. Then again, maybe it does and I missed it. Great Service.
